Boy oh boy oh boy....its been almost a year since I last placed an entry. How times flies and looking at some of the pixs of my sons, they have grown. Evan had to go for his health screening and nearing 13, he is 1.74m and 89 kg. Hmmmmm he really needs to go on a diet!
For Lucas, he has also packed in weight. No more the scrawny kid but becoming a miniture Michelin Man....hmmmmm...he too needs to be exercising and being placed on a diet.
When i was their age, weight was never an issue. I was just skinny! There were some quite unkind nicknames directed at me including Bamboo, gala because I was tall and slim. Must be the better nutrition that our kids are having these days that is changing their physique. Not all is good cause the food now is pretty processed. How times have changed.
On fishing, it's been tough with the different demands setting in. Do I miss it - well sometimes cause it was my "alone" time. But I do enjoy doing what I'm doing right now including not fishing. It's just a phase and I do know that my rods and reels are not going to be packed in the storeroom for long. The joy of having a whopper at the end of my line is just too tempting.
Who knows - perhaps next year I will take a mission trip to Papua. Looking at the pictures, I also noted the rich fishing ground. My kakis have been bugging me to go for the Tanjong Pinang trip and there is the legendary Bungsaram in Thailand. If I do go, watch out for the posting on this blog.
